information about Take Heart and NO PERSONAL DATA is
held on the website or its servers. No financial data of
members is held on our IT systems, other than the public
acknowledgement of every donation in our member’s
newsletters which can be anonymised if requested.
After 34 years as a charity run completely on a voluntary basis, we continue to raise funds exclusively for the Yorkshire Heart Centre at Leeds General Infirmary, St James’s hospital and its units within The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
To date we have raised in excess of six million pounds which has been used to provide comfort and enhance the surroundings for patients who visit the centre every year

Congratulations to Rob and Jamie Winter who completed a
Skydive raising £3,805 for the Yorkshire Heart Centre.
Rob's father Geoff had aortic valve replacement surgery at
the LGI and recently completed a 60 mile long distance
walk in 6 days age 80, which is clear testimony to the
success of the surgery.
