Several years ago, my dad John passed away after having a triple heart valve replacement,
unfortunately one of the valves became infected which led to complications.
Anyway, at one point he spent 18 weeks in LGI while they tried to beat the infection, and due to
the help he and the family gained from Take Heart, we had a collection at his funeral and raised
several hundred pounds.
This year my fiance and I are getting wed, and are having a large party afterwards. In lieu of
wedding gifts, we would like to ask guests to make a donation to Take Heart in rememberence of
my dad.
