Kathy wrote to us in January 2013 and said: “I am just letting you know that my dad passed away last week, and mum has chosen the Take Heart charity for donations lin lieu of flowers, I have also set up a Virgingiving page for online donations too. To date we have raised almost £300 and the funeral on Friday should raise more. My dad's name is Sandor (Alec) Zelei and it would be really lovely if he could be mentoned on your site, as mum specifically chose to support Take Heart after dad had lifesaving surgery in Leeds 4 years ago. She and dad made regular small donations but this should provide you with a nice amount of money to do something for other heart patients. Mum's name is Jean Zelei.
