WHARFEDALE
CARDIAC
CLUB
The Wharfedale Cardiac Club was founded in 1991 at
Wharfedale Hospital, Otley by a retired Cardiac
Consultant and has been providing an exercise regime
and support for cardiac surgical patients (and their
supporters) since.
This is an invaluable resource for those having
undergone heart surgery and, apart from becoming more
active, the opportunity of being with others who have
been through similar experiences as yourself is hugely
beneficial.
There are over 100 active members and there are
sessions on Monday and Thursday evenings. There is a
voluntary contribution of £4.00 per session.
